Request an assessment
Request an assessment
First, you will need to request for your local Made for Movement Product Specialist to visit for an initial assessment. We can carry out assessments in home or school/clinic settings if the setting is accessible. Before an assessment, our team will ask for some relevant background information to establish what size device and accessories you or your child requires, and your Product Specialist will always recommend that you invite your/your child's physiotherapist to attend an assessment where possible.
The main objectives of an assessment are to:
- Figure out if the Innowalk is a suitable solution for a potential user and can solve the challenges you or they may face
- See how it works and how it can support a potential user’s development
- Answer any questions you have and find solutions to specific challenges
Short-term trial period
Short-term trial period
Where possible, your Product Specialist will aim to loan you one of their demonstration Innowalk units to trial for a short-term period, ideally a couple of weeks where possible. They will set the Innowalk up for you or the end user, train relevant operators on its safe usage, and be available to contact during the trial if you need any help or have any questions.
The purpose of a short-term trial period is to:
- Establish whether Innowalk is something that fits into daily life
- Observe any clinical benefits that occur during the trial period
- Take evidence (photos, videos, document outcomes), to strengthen any application for funding if required
Estimate pricing
Estimate pricing
Following an Innowalk assessment, your Product Specialist can provide you with a full itemized estimate document including all the accessories required to optimize positioning and use. An estimate is an indicator of price based on model availability and current pricing. An official quotation can be provided closer to point of order.
Estimates are often required as part of a charity grant or medicolegal application.
Quotation

When you are getting close to ordering, we can provide you with an official quotation based on your estimate with any updates required including size, accessories & pricing. Our quotations include full terms and conditions and are valid for 60 days.
Establish your funding options
Establish your funding options
Made for Movement assistive devices may not be eligible for provision through local authority funding in the UK and Ireland. However, there are still funding opportunities for assistive devices not available from the National Health Service (NHS).
The typical options for funding Innowalk are:
- Medicolegal Cases - The Made for Movement team can liaise with Expert Witnesses, Case Managers, Solicitors and Financial Deputies to provide the information they may need to fund the Innowalk for their clients.
- Charity Grants - There are many charities who will provide grants to individuals and groups/schools to help them access Innowalk. Please see "Charity funding" for further information on which charities to approach.
- Fundraising - Our team can help you with creative ideas for fundraising and give examples of what has worked well in the past for other successful clients such as crowd funding.
For Medicolegal cases and Charity Grant applications, we offer support throughout the application process. We can assist families and professionals with the required supporting documents on the equipment, the benefits and clinical evidence.

Following the 2-year inclusive period, customers can choose any of the following Uptime service plans.
* Warranty available until end of year 5 from product install.
You can learn more about the Uptime Service Program here.
Product lifespan
Product lifespan
All Innowalk products have an official lifespan of 5 Years, however with diligent care a product can last between 5-10+ years. Contingency should be made for a full replacement of the unit at around ca. 7-8 years from install to ensure appropriate growth and sizing as well as potential model obsolescence.
The Innowalk is a modular product configured with parts from European suppliers and all parts are subject to availability. We aim to ensure parts are available to replace modular breakdown, however, we cannot guarantee long-term supply continuity from the supply chain, and this could lead to units becoming obsolete or entering a status of beyond economical repair.
